WeDo acquires brazilian company “Tecnológica Telecomunicações”
WeDo announces the purchase of the company TECNOLÓGICA TELECOMUNICAÇÕES LTDA. (“Tecnológica”) from the Brazilian group TECNOLÓGICA INDÚSTRIA E COMÉRCIO DE INFORMÁTICA S.A.
“Tecnológica” is a Brazilian company, with its headquarters in Rio de Janeiro and branches in São Paulo, Brasilia and Salvador. This purchase sees WeDo acquire a software factory with a strong R&D capacity, enhanced product knowledge and local product support to add to its existing structure in Portugal. The move will also enable WeDo to expand its client base in Brazil and Latin America and diversify its portfolio of products that complement RAID.
The division acquired by WeDo, develops software and solutions for the largest telecommunications operators in Latin America, particularly in the area of Revenue Assurance.
“One of the strategic objectives set by WeDo involves growth through acquisitions that could enhance our value and know-how in other markets,” explains Rui Paiva, CEO of WeDo. “Tecnológica’s telecommunications branch perfectly fits the profile we were looking for, as its activity complements WeDo’s business and it has great potential for growth.”
This acquisition will pave the way for the creation of new modules in the RAID or Revenue Assurance offering from WeDo, expanding its portfolio of solutions for all the markets in which it operates.

WeDo gathers together the main global telecommunications operations,
this time in Porto
WeDo organised the second WeDo RAID User Group in Porto on 31 May and 1 June. More than 40 representatives from international companies were present, including those from the main mobile and fixed operators active in the UK market, such as Orange UK. Other operators from Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa also attended.
“The success of the 1st WeDo RAID User Group was renowned, not only for the number of clients present, but also for the positive feedback we received from them all. The WeDo RAID User Group gathered together the RAID (Revenue Assurance Solution) users’ community, creating a forum where the main telecommunications operators shared experiences and had the opportunity to find out about success stories in other industries, such as Utilities,Finance and Health.

WeDo Soft launches RAID Version 4.1 with new Business Control Module
