  WeDo Soft announces ICS 4.2

Even more powerful Bad Debt negotiation features!

Paris, France , 10th January, 2006 - WeDo Soft today announces the release of their latest version of ICS (Integrated Collections Solution). ICS is a highly flexible and easily configurable solution to automate and continuously improve your credit control and collections operations.

This new version brings a further enhanced debt negotiation module and consolidates ICS as a best-of-breed solution for the telecom industry. ICS enables the telecom operator to address bad debt through an integrated approach by considering each customer's entire debt portfolio, including individual multiple accounts and invoices.

ICS monitors customers' usage and bad debt. According to user configured segmentation strategies based on several criteria such as 'customer type', 'risk scoring' and 'overdue amount', among others, ICS handles customer debt by applying different collection scenarios.

Each scenario comprises several collection actions aimed at persuading the customer to pay. The collection actions templates are provided and automatically filled and executed as configured within the collection scenarios, or manually through the manual actions features provided. ICS provides extensive, easy to use features to manage and execute strategies, scenarios and actions, automatically and manually.

The new release brings new features to the Negotiations Module. ICS supports the simulation and establishment of payment agreements with customers and controls it from the moment of the request to the conclusion or breach of the agreement. It also enables the execution of 'debt negotiation campaigns' where the accounts with older debts are selected and for each different payment, plans can be generated according to the rules defined and the characteristics of the account. This feature allows the creation of proactive debt regularization initiatives that will help to recover large amounts of bad debt under specific conditions.

Miguel Lopes, WeDo's head of Product Marketing, stated that "WeDo continues to strive to address the Telecom Industry requirements. ICS is one of the most effective solutions available on the market today. It endorses customer bad debt in an extremely flexible way by providing Telecom Operators with the ability to collect from customers according to each characteristic and payment history, while delivering an extensive set of features that help to achieve maximum results and costs savings. To develop this new version, we worked closely with our customers to deliver a value-added feature that responds to an important need of the telecom industry in this field."

ICS is the right solution for any mobile, fixed or cable operator willing to deal effectively with customers' bad debt.
