Vodafone Portugal selects Revenue Assurance Software from WeDo Consulting

Lisbon, 13 th April 2004 – WeDo Consulting, a leading provider of software solutions for the communications & media markets, today announced the closing of a deal to implement its Revenue Assurance solution (RAID) with Vodafone Portugal.

Vodafone Portugal started an aggressive Revenue Assurance program three years ago. The implementation of We Do Consulting’s software product, RAID, is an important step towards automation, marking a new development phase on that program.

RAID will allow the integration and automation of all Revenue Assurance control processes.

RAID is WeDo Consulting's answer to the need felt by mobile operators in maintaining the coherency between their entire BSS, OSS and network systems portfolio, thus controlling revenue leakage.

WEDO CONSULTING ANNOUNCES RAID 2.0 - The leading solution for Revenue Assurance

Lisbon , February 2004 – WeDo Consulting today announced the commercial availability of release 2.0. of RAID - Revenue Assurance Integrity Driller. The momentum that RAID is building and its strong customer references worldwide make this the leading solution for Revenue Assurance. Roaming Inform
WeDo Consulting launches new solution for the roaming business.

Lisbon , February 2004 – WeDo Consulting has just launched a new solution for Roaming management – Roaming Inform.

Roaming Inform is a new tool designed for the automatic management of Roaming agreements’ information and it’s part of WeDo Consulting’s family of Roaming Products.

This solution allows the automatic flow of information through its central information repository to several of the telecom operator’s internal systems, including Internet, Intranet and back office, according to previously defined parameters.

Complying with GSM Association’s Roaming Code of Conduct, which defines the way and means of communicating Roaming rates to final customers, Roaming Inform is also prepared to integrate Electronic AA14 (XML) – defined by GSM Association – Roaming E-Exchange that will automate the worldwide information exchange process of Roaming agreements between operators.

This new solution includes a call simulator, to calculate the exact cost of calls made under Roaming, according to several parameters, including exchange rates.

According to Álvaro Ribeiro, WeDo Consulting’s Head of Telecommunications, “the main benefits of implementing this tool in a telecom operator are the consistency of Roaming information existing in the different systems (eliminating the error margin), the increase in productivity due to task automation and the subsequent cost reduction and the improvement in the quality of service.”
