João Albergaria Resende is the new WeDo Technologies’ Vice President Product Development

WeDo Technologies, world leader in revenue assurance, has named João Albergaria Resende as the new WeDo Technologies’ Vice President for Product Development. João Resende will manage a team of more than 90 people covering all the key aspects of product development including architecture, product management, support, quality and testing. João is also going to head the professional services team.
WeDo Technologies’ software houses that will now be run by João are located in Braga (Portugal), Dublin (Ireland) and Poznan (Poland).
João Albergaria Resende joined WeDo Technologies team in 2001, as Senior Manager, to head the Braga office. He managed a team of more than 30 consultants and several development projects in Portugal and Brazil. João Resende was also responsible for the set-up and launch of the WeDo Technologies’ software factory in Braga.
Prior to joining WeDo Technologies, João Albergaria Resende worked for AMS – American Management Systems for 3 years. Earlier he founded a small company of control and automation projects [PCA, Projectos de Controlo e Automação].
João Albergaria Resende has a degree in Engineering and a master in Industrial Information Technology from Oporto University. João is also an MBA from INSEAD.
