Fraud and Revenue Assurance (RA) are critical functions for an operator; and the fraud and RA processes and tools that operators now have are much more advanced and sophisticated. However, the move towards IP technology, and increasing collaboration with third parties to provide value added services, pose questions as to how telecoms RA and fraud will cope with these new technologies and business models.
