The VimpelCom Group's license portfolio covers a territory with a population of about 340 million. As of September 30, 2009, VimpelCom's total number of active subscribers in Russia and the CIS was 65.4 million (including 51.0 million in Russia, 6.8 million in Kazakhstan, 3.7 million in Uzbekistan and 2.2 million in Ukraine).

Revenue Assurance in Optimus Portugal Optimus Telecomunicações, S.A. is a Portuguese GSM/UMTS mobile operator. The company was incorporated at the end of 1997 after winning the bid for Portugal's third GSM license. Optimus is a a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sonaecom (a sub-holding of Portuguese conglomerate Sonae, which is the major shareholder, with the France Télécom holding company Atlas Services Belgium (ASB) as the largest minority owner).

Rating Validation in a Tier 1 Operator As a leading telecommunications provider in the UK, our client had several thousand rating plans that were not easy to implement or maintain, using their existing Rating Validation system. This resulted in an inability to verify if all of their revenue streams and plans were being rated correctly. Ultimately our client could not determine if their revenues were affected due to incorrect charging of their customers.
