01.Description
The Hermes Project consists in the development of a new kind of products/services, so far inexistent in the national and international markets: an integrated global management system of the purchase process in organizations, assuring total coverage of the acquisitive process value chain, integrating management support tools in the decision making and controlling the respective process and costs.
02.Main Goals
With this Project’s development, the consortium represented by the entities, Digitmarket (Bizdirect), WeDo Technologies and Saphety applies for a technology solution and a optimized functionally, the characteristics identified as a asset for the market, whose analysis, implementation and development result from advanced investigation activities and a concept development.
This Project’s ground integrates a variety of components – functional complementary modules -, targeted to fulfill diverse and specific needs of each one of the acquisitive process value chain stages. The actual solutions available in the market – that only provide solutions to partial and isolated stages of the value chain – imply high levels of implementation efforts, customization and maintenance, becoming less flexible, more expensive and making the respective users/clients very dependent of the service provider.
03.Incentive System/Support Measure
The present Project was applicant and approved under the Investigation and Technological Development Incentive Systems of QREN (National Strategic Reference Board), as a co-promotion project, according to Aviso de Abertura Nº09/SI/2008, under the Lisbon Operational Regional Program.

Total Investment - 1.885.862,17 Euros
Incentive Approved – 936.372,51 Euros
05. Implementation Deadlines
This project has duration of 24 months, started at 01.09.2008 and is foreseen to finish at 31.08.2010.
Current Status: The project is now under evaluation and audit period by AdI (Agência de Inovação)
